My mother has always been the heart of our family. She devoted her life to caring for us, giving unconditional love, and putting our needs before her own. Seeing her suffer through so much pain is one of the hardest things our family has ever faced.
A few years ago, my mother suffered a stroke that left part of her body paralyzed. Since then, even the simplest daily activities have become a struggle. She can no longer move normally and depends on the support of those around her for many things that most of us take for granted. Despite her physical limitations, she continues to fight with incredible strength and patience.
Just as we were trying to cope with the challenges of her recovery, we received another heartbreaking diagnosis — my mother has breast cancer. The news has deeply affected our family, and we are now facing an even greater battle.
Doctors have advised that she must undergo surgery as soon as possible to prevent the cancer from progressing and to give her the best chance of recovery. Unfortunately, the costs of the operation, medical examinations, medications, and post-operative care are far beyond what our family can afford.
It is painful to watch the woman who once cared for everyone now struggle with illness every single day. Yet, she continues to smile and pray, holding on to hope that she will be given the opportunity to heal and spend more precious time with her loved ones.
